Please join us as we explore and honor the women of Jodo Shinshu and the important role they played in helping to propagate and establish Shinran Shonin’s teaching in Japan. Our speakers include Prof. Mark Unno, from the University of Oregon, Rev./Dr. Shoyo Taniguchi a Jodo Shinshu minister, and Mrs. Sumi Tanabe a modern day Shin Buddhist who is working and practicing the nembutsu.

Our moderator is Dr. Linda Engstrom who received her tokudo ordination this year.
